Porting a PC app to a Mac = Not a good idea. Non-Mac interface, feels alien, operates even worse, not intuitive AT ALL. Waste of money. has some cool possibilities, but theyre completely wasted.

It works fine on my iMac. I like it. No problems here.

Cant make video backgrounds transparent - even after folliowing the help file advice! Disappointing Perhaps needs updating for Mountain Lion???

I like Aurora software,This is a real 3D animation software…..The best….although I am still learning ….I hope withing some weeks…hope to be more perfect……when you make any title with Aurora it is easy to use with another video editors……clear and clean….thank you

Not bad for the price but it totally feels like a windows application. Command "W" should close window... It doesnt. When you close the work space it quits, just like windows. Wheres the font menu like in all other Mac apps. Im just saying if your gonna put this out on the App store then I hope they polish this up a bit.

I havent used this app a lot yet, Im learning to use it, but so far so good. Im loving it. Exactly what I was looking for.

THIS PROGRAM IS VERY GOOD, THE SUPORT STAFF IS HELPING ME TO FIX SOME STUFF, SO I RECOMEND IT. NICE WORK.

This app is totally awesome. There were some issues before the update. After the update, every single issue i had was fixed. There is one thing at this time that i would love to be able to do, which is ***Bump Mapping*** for textures, then all id have to say after that is "game over grover." Thank you once again.

This is a great app and very easy to use. I highly recommend it and now even more that they fix the crashing problem. You can create amazing 3D titles and intros to use in iMovie or Final Cut Pro X. I guarantee youll love it!

when i purchase aurora3d i made two videos for my job and we all love it!!!!!!!!!

I have mixed feelings about this App. I like certain basic elements of it for quick mock-ups and splashes, but unfortunately things are very very buggy after the lastest update. Imported SVGs wont work properly whenever you reopen a project…for example any of my imported custom SVG files will only show up as blank rectangular plates upon reopening same said projects. Also, simple numeric adjustments of node rotations are maddeningly glitchy - when keying in new numeric values to make position adjustments to the nodes, the interface glitches out completely and will not let you type in the numbers you want. For instance, at a given keyframe in a project I was trying to change an X position of a node from -16.05 to -20.20. As I tried to type in the -20.20 value, the interface would just change it to any random numbers other than what I was typing. Very frustrating and impossible to do any basic editing. These two problems kept recurring after repeated reboots of the App. Very disappointing. Ill keep my eye on any future updates, but this program is now Officially Broke after the Latest Update. How unfortunate...

This is quite the dissappointment. Saved files will NOT open with "Open Recent", but the biggest problem is, ITS NOT EXPORTING! Nothing I try will work to export it, it says in the description that its compatible with iMovie, and i paid FIFTY DAMMING DOLLARS for it!!! WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!

The program doesnt support video alpha channel file formats. Everything you see in the demos has a background. I wasted $50 bucks on it.

Would you please work on the option of saving GIF or VIDEOS or... without background.

The update gives you a trasparent background meaning you can use your animations over your own video. JUST GET IT!!! Its worth it!!! Its also great for making "video opens" over still pictures, color or black backgrounds. This tool makes so many difficult effects extremely easy and fast!!! Works well with adobe premiere pro cs6 Old review before they added transparent background: First youll need to understand this is a title maker or a "video open maker." You will not be able to put these titles over video, but rather use the titles to introduce video or break it up. With that said, its a great way to amp up the look of videos, giving them a very professional polished feel. It separates your video from others. With the animation, the titles can actually be a stand-alone video. I DO NOT regret my purchase.

Luv using this application, but now it does not work with Maverick anymore… It locks up and when adding text it mutliplies accross the screen… Fix this and I will fix my rating… Don’t buy or download until they have a Maverick OS X fix for it...

I bought this application because I wanted to learn how to make 3D animated intros. I had been using Animationist for a while which is great for 2D intros, but it doesn’t do 3D like this one does. Adobe After Effects looks too complicated and is very expensive, so I wanted something simpler. I decided to spend the $60 to get this app, despite the interface looking like it was directly ported from Windows XP. I have faith that the developer will continue to support this app and eventually redesign it to meet OS X design standards. Also, I must have been doing something wrong, but I tried to make an object grow bigger and then shrink again using keyframes, but it didn’t seem to work. Overall, I wish I had stuck with Animationist by Synium Software (Mac App Store) because it is much simpler and it looks great too!
